Location: Houston, Texas
We are seeking to hire an NDT Level III Manager. As an NDT Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of all NDT inspections, training, and personnel certification. Essential duties include the following: Manage NDT technicians to include hiring, training and certification program. Develop test techniques and write procedures to meet API and customer specifications regarding UT and RT inspections. Perform RSO duties as required by the Department of Health. Effectively communicate with supervisors and customers with regard to NDT processes. Trouble-shoot and evaluate equipment functionality. Conduct calibrations and inspection sequences, as well as, research and recommend new equipment. Effectively communicate NDT specifications, processes, and procedures in support of in-house inspection and external supplier activities. Be capable of determining accept/reject decisions on NDT inspections. Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to request for service and assistance; Meets commitments. Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions. Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Supports everyone’s efforts to succeed. Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
